Conference season begins in spring, and two in particular will interest publications and Web content managers:

A Knowledge Sharing Summit for Online Professionals
May 5 – 7 in Philadelphia

J Boye, the conference organizer, says participants will consist of:

Web practitioners in the widest sense; web managers, web project managers, intranet managers and other online professionals operating both in- and outside the firewall.

Conference tracks will include strategy and governance, intranets, Web content management, SharePoint, user experience, and e-health.

Specialized Information Publishers Association 33rd Annual International Conference
May 31-June 2 in Washington, DC

Conference organizers expect 600-plus publishers of specialized information and vendors. Publishers will be large and small, mostly in niche markets, with outlets online and/or in print. Other participants will include marketers, editors, and operating officers.
